1 cup butter 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups oatmeal 2 cups cornflakes  2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 ~ 12 oz. package of chocolate chips 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped Cream butter & sugars, in a large bowl with an electric mixer, add eggs, vanilla and beat until fluffy. Stir in oatmeal & cornflakes.  In a medium bowl, whisk together, flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter & sugar mixture, if the dough is a little dry, add 1 to 2 tablespoons water. Stir in chips and nuts. Pre heat oven 350°. Drop dough by the spoonful, onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 13 minutes. Makes 1 to 2 dozen.
