Thick sauce;
Make 1 & 1/2 cups
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of white pepper
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded sharp natural cheddar cheese
Melt butter
in a saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all
at once and quickly stir with a wire whisk till mixture starts to
thickens, add cheese and continue whisking until the cheese is melted
and the sauce is the desired thickness. Set aside and keep warm till used.
